Essex Senior Winter League results 2010-11
Thurrock Mens I team were celebrating this weekend following this weekends final game against Aldersbrook. The last match victory cemented 1st place finish in division 6.
The Thurrock Ladies also obtained thier best ever result finishing 3rd in division 5.
Essex Senior Summer League results 2010
The Mens team again participated in the Essex Summer League Tournaments. The Mens A team came 2nd in division 4c and have been promoted. That's fantastic news for the club. Well done to all those who participated.
The mens team also took place in the Southend and District League Singles competition. This proved a very popular event for our mens team. They came 5th in the division and will participate in this event next year.
The winter leagues have started for both the Mens and Ladies doubles team. Both teams had a successful first game gaining maximum points. Lets continue with the winning ways. Southend and District Senior Mixed Doubles Final 10th October 2010
TLTC took place in the final at the Deanes on 10th October vs Westcliff LTC. The last time Thurrock took place in a final in this league was 58 years ago. Westcliff won 3-1 retaining their championship, but Thurrock team put up a worthy challenge.
Essex Winter League results 2010
The Ladies and Mens teams again participated in the Essex Winter League Tournaments.
The Mens A team came third in div 6, the Mens B team were Runners-up in div 7 and the Ladies team came 5th in division 5. We will be entering a mens third team for next winter so both Mens teams will go up a division.
