Thurrock Lawn Tennis Club

Welcome to Thurrock Lawn Tennis Club. The club is located in Grays, Essex and has been in existence for over 60 years. Our aim is to encourage the community of Thurrock to play tennis at all levels and age groups. We have over 100 members and new players are always warmly welcomed. The club is very well maintained and owns three tarmac (hard) courts complimented by an excellent clubhouse with kitchen, gents and ladies changing rooms, disabled toilet facilities and wheelchairs access to all court areas.

There are six qualified tennis coaches who provide excellent tuition at very competitive rates. Their full contact details are supplied in the coaching section. Our coaches subscribe to the latest courses to ensure that players of all ages benefit by learning the more technical aspects of the game and as a bonus, improving their overall fitness!

Last year our coaching team introduced tennis drills, doubles tactics and kids programs to enhance your game. This proved a great success.

We have men's, ladies and mixed doubles teams playing in the Essex leagues. We hold regular social events each week to cater for all membership types. Please refer to court times for further details.
